The creative brief for this project was to design a custom typeface and poster advertisement inspired by a randomly selected location. The primary challenge was to ensure the typography reflected the character and atmosphere of the place.

My research focused on Laguna del Diamante, a volcanic crater lake in Argentina renowned for its perfectly circular form and diverse ecology. The name Diamante, meaning “diamond” in English, became a central concept in my design. I drew inspiration from both the meaning of the name and the way the surrounding mountain reflects in the lake, creating a diamond-like shape.

The final poster integrates these ideas through the typography and visual composition, while also referencing the area’s unique wildlife, including the flamingos that inhabit the region.
