North of the 45th
North of the 45th is an annual exhibition at the DeVos Art Museum, now in its 19th year, showcasing artists from Upper Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. To increase artist submissions, I designed a cohesive call for entries campaign, including a poster, postcard, and advertisement.
For the designs I utilized a bold primary color accompanied by a blue background to catch the attention of viewers across the community. Utilization of red creates a clear call to action, directing viewers to scan the QR code and submit artwork.
I designed the exhibition promotional materials, a poster, postcard, and ad to display the featuring selected artists. I carried over the illustrated-black stroke inspired and type-driven aesthetic from the call for art entires, to create consistency.
Additionally created the documents that featured the exhibition awards such as jurors choice award and audience award.
